Evoking global thinking and empathy in your communications styles will make your employees better team members, communicators, collaborators, and people. In this session, we will explore examples of different cultural communication styles and strategies for communicating effectively to all.

- Explain how our unconscious biases lead to strained cross-cultural communication
- Identify positive and negative consequences for good and poor cross-cultural communication
- Use Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions Theory to identify key practical differences between specific cultures and countries
- Identify the privileged identities in the place of the workshop (eg. in Canada)
- Implement strategies for better cross-cultural communication such as building rapport, simplifying language, and many more.
