GE Aerospace recognized that continuous innovation requires ongoing investment in employee learning and development to remain competitive, motivated, and productive. They sought engaging learning opportunities that were readily accessible and could accommodate their global workforce across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.

Engagement 2: Training for Human Resources Team
Opportunity
GE Aerospace sought an impactful session for their HR team focused on personal and professional development. Their main goal was to ensure actionable learning that could be applied to their roles.
SkillsCamp Solution
We delivered a 90-minute online session centred around developing a growth mindset and managing imposter syndrome. This session critically examined imposter syndrome, how to identify it within oneself and others, and the role of a growth mindset in managing it, and included insights from experts.
Engagement 3: GEiQ
Challenge
SkillsCamp was referred to GE Infrastructure Queretaro (GEiQ), the largest Aviation Engineering Center outside the U.S., interested in training to increase understanding and empathy among different generations in their workforce.
SkillsCamp Solution
We delivered a 90-minute online session on International Communication and Understanding, which covered issues related to age in the workplace, the context surrounding various generations and their upbringings (past), defining traits of upcoming generations (future), and tips for fostering intergenerational understanding (present).
Engagement 4: Team Development Week in Paris
Challenge
GE’s Commercial Operations hosted a team development week in Paris and sought training that would help employees learn skills to navigate constant changes in their industry and company.
SkillsCamp Solution
We designed and delivered a custom 90-minute in-person session on Navigating Change by Inviting M.O.R.E. in Paris, France. This session addressed negative reactions to change, the biology of change, growth mindsets, optimism in practice, resilience, and empathy. Participants gained valuable strategies for personal growth and development.
Engagement 5: Resilience and Stress Management Training
Opportunity
Following the success of the Navigating Change session, another department within GE requested training on resilience and stress management.
SkillsCamp Solution
We conducted another in-person session for their U.S.-based Human Resources department, covering responses to change, the science of change, fostering growth mindsets, practicing optimism, building resilience, and empathy. The session involved distributing workbooks and facilitating interactive activities for all participants.
