HCRA holds licensed builders to professional standards, protects the public interest, and enhances consumer confidence in the homebuilding industry in Ontario. In addition, HCRA strives to educate consumers to ensure that they can make informed decisions and understand the benefits of a regulated homebuilding sector.
Challenge
The Home Construction Regulatory Authority was looking for a vendor to create and implement a leadership program for managers and senior leaders. The aim was to develop a program that would enhance the participants’ skills in line with the organization’s key competencies, enabling them to better manage the constantly changing challenges of the industry.
SkillsCamp Solution
SkillsCamp designed and delivered a three-month hybrid leadership program that started with a 360-degree review for all participants and goal-setting exercises. The program then consisted of asynchronous pre-work, six in-person facilitator-led sessions, on-the-job application exercises, and executive coaching for each participant.
Results
SkillsCamp’s 3-month leadership program was not only successfully delivered but also received with enthusiasm by the managers and leaders. The participants found the program to be a valuable investment for their organization and praised the in-person workshop facilitators, underscoring the program’s effectiveness. HCRA found our “Inclusion & Belonging” session so impactful and applicable to their organization that they brought us in to deliver a second session to all staff, alongside their managers and senior leaders.
