SkillsCamp first launched in early 2016. Since then, we have grown to help organizations from all over the world build soft skills in their staff and students – skills like resilience, stress-management, unconscious bias, personal branding, and more.


Our clients include companies such as Deloitte, RBC, CIBC, PepsiCo, GM, and more. We’ve stayed strong with our education roots and have worked with every level of education from high schools around Ontario up to universities such as the University of Toronto, Ryerson University, UCLA, the University of Massachusetts, and many others. We’ve even partnered with government in the City of Toronto, the City of Brampton, the Bank of Canada, and Canada Public Safety. All along, it has been important that we also work with with non-profits, some as big as the Salvation Army and other more local affairs working to offer skills training to those that need it most, but may not have a company or school to cover it.


Needless to say, we’ve had a fantastic 3 years, we’re still growing, and we cannot do it alone! That’s why we are looking to build a strong roster of engaging part-time facilitators!


  • An established professional facilitator with 3+ years experience in the broad areas of:
    • Communications
    • Emotional Intelligence
    • Leadership
    • Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion
    • Storytelling & Personal Branding
    • Teamwork
    • Or another of our soft skill areas.
  • An understanding of adult learning and inclusion principles in facilitation
  • Located in the GTA and can attend a training at our head office (111 Peter Street)
  • Ability to travel (a driver’s licence, passport, and no criminal record)
  • Must attend 1 full day of training with other chosen facilitators at SkillsCamp
  • Available to facilitate workshops at least once per month.


  • Bilingual in French or another language
  • Interest in the Future of Work


  • You’re comfortable facilitating workshops on a variety of soft skills.
  • You’re adaptable and able to
  • You have good customer service skills
  • You’re good at quickly building trust and rapport with clients and students
  • You’re a good storyteller and can engage an audience of 3 or 300.
  • Coaching Certification from an accredited ICF or another coaching school.
  • Excellent rapport building skills – a “natural ability” to make clients feel cared about.
  • Strong sense of empathy, positive outlook, ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent listening and customer service skills, and ability to translate ideas into practical goals.
  • Multitasking, strong follow-up, tracking, reporting and organizational skill
